Spring

Well, it is spring!

The sun is shining but it is cold out.

Little Hailee is staying with us for a few days.

We are totally enjoying her. She is such a blessing.

Not Good

It seems that I am not a good blogger.

I'm not very consistent besides having long

times between each post.

It's been very yucky outside.

Rain for the second day in a row.

I'm looking forward to family time this weekend.

New Necklace

This a new necklace that I love.

It's made of pink quartz and tiny swarovski crystals.

The brown one pictured in the previous post sold today!

My computer has been down for some time.

Glad to have it back.

Sunny Day

Everything is so much better with sun.

I'm starting to get new items in the store

from the gift show. I'll have to post some

pictures. I don't have the camera here today.

I've been into making new jewellry for the store.

Tayson's Birthday

We had a busy weekend preparing and then having
Tayson's 5th birthday party. He had so much fun!
He picked a mermaid pinata which was quite funny
looking. He asked me if I thought it was ugly.
What do you say?
The store has been closed for the month of Jan.
I'm heading back tomorrow. I went to the gift show
last week and have some nice things coming in.

It's About Time!

Wow, I haven't posted in long time.

I went to Florida after Christmas with my parents.

Dan and I drove down with them and flew back.

We were fortunate to have great weather, except for two cold days.

Here's a few pics. The store is closed for the month of January. I am

really enjoying the time away. It's snowing today, the boys are home

to study for their exams.

Christmas Eve

This is our present day at our house.

In our dutch tradition we give each other our

gifts in the evening of Christmas Eve.

I still have a few presents to wrap and preparations.

Right now the house is quiet, everyone is still sleeping.

I love this time of quiet in the morning. I have my coffee,

play on the computer and just relax before I start my day.

Looking forward to all of us being together. This year

Mom & Dad & Debbie are joining us too.

Yet Another Snowy Day!

It has been snowing all day. Church was even cancelled for this afternoon,

which is very rarely done! This is one of my very favorite cards that

I've made this Christmas. It's a Stampin' Up set called Baby Jesus.

Time

Wow! Time goes so quickly.
Ten more days till Christmas.
Today is our VDK Christmas.
If all come there are 50 of us!
We still gather at a home. It's
always a fun time.
The store is doing great.
Shan is going there this morning so
that I can do some things around here.
I'm glad for that.

SNOW!!!

This is what I woke up to yesterday morning.

We had so much snow accumulation.

I do like it though.

Schomberg Christmas Main St.

In our little town of Schomberg,

there is a big parade, held the first Saturday of

December. There are two parades actually, the traditional

kind in the afternoon and at night a parade of lights,

which features tractors and implements all dressed

up with Christmas lights. It was so cold that night, but

what fun!

My grandaughter is almost 3 months and

she's already styling with the cutest shoes.

This card was made with the stamp set

card beside the tree with a greeting

This card is made from a Stampin'Up

stamp set called Baby Jesus is Born.

I embossed it with white and added

a touch of glitter. This is a simple

but elegant card.
